I am here to share with you my passion for fashion, beauty, and travel. I am born and raised in London and an optician by profession, but my true calling is fashion. I love nothing better than putting together outfits and creating different looks. To me, personal style is more than just self-expression; it’s also a way to be confident in who I am. What they say is true: when you look good, you feel good!
Fashion has long been a part of my world and has played a big role in my life, which grew into a part-time profession when I started modelling. This soon took me across the globe, from my home in London to India’s fashion capital Mumbai, where I also starred in an Indian dance reality show on ‘Star Plus’ and met my husband :), to where I am currently based in New York City.
My love for fashion is what has inspired me to start Style by Sajal. Through this blog, I aim to share with you all the affordable fashion finds, clever style tricks, my favorite beauty products, picture-perfect travel destinations, tips on creating your own unique look, and most importantly a mixture of hand picked outfits in a variety of styles. Of course, my optical background will also come in to play: I have a special interest in the aesthetics of accessories, especially sunglasses! I’m always searching for ways to combine frames and fashion to complete a unique look.
